He married Ann Rudge Harborne, St Peter, 3rd February 1850. Ann was born Barty Beanwick, Staffordshire c1830. Ann was the daughter of Samuel Rudge. Ann died 1899? Newport Pagnell, Bucks?, at 69 years of age.
