17. Henry3 Townsend (John2, Thomas1) was born Melksham, Wilts 1794. Henry died 17th November 1874 Melksham, at 80 years of age. His body was interred 23rd November 1874 Melksham.

He married twice. He married Ann Davis Chapel of Winsley, Parish of Bradford, Wiltshire, 26th July 1813. Ann was born c1792. Ann died 3rd November 1832 Melksham, at 40 years of age. He married Jane Wiltshire Freshford, Somerset, 8th October 1837. Jane was born Melksham c1806. Jane was the daughter of William Wiltshire. Jane died 28th December 1870 Melksham, at 64 years of age.

Henry Townsend and Ann Davis had the following children:

child 19 i. Jane4 Townsend.

child + 20 ii. James Davis Townsend was born 1814.

child 21 iii. Eliza Townsend was born Melksham c1816.

child 22 iv. Thomas Townsend was born Melksham c1819.

child 23 v. George Townsend was born Melksham c1822. He married Mary ?. Mary was born Monkton Farleigh, Wiltshire c1824.

Henry Townsend and Jane Wiltshire had the following children:

child + 24 vi. Mark Townsend was born c1830.

child + 25 vii. Henry Townsend was born c1838.

child + 26 viii. Thomas Townsend was born c1840.

child 27 ix. Job Townsend was born Melksham, Wiltshire c1842.

child 28 x. William Townsend was born Melksham, Wiltshire c1846.

child 29 xi. John Townsend was born Melksham, Wiltshire c1849.
